Elizabeth
Horan originally hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In 1991,
Elizabeth moved to California to climb and trek its mountains and
deserts. Once she had ascended and explored many mountains in the
Pacific Northwest, she moved on to South America for its high altitude
climbing and challenging terrain. Elizabeth's greatest enjoyment
is sharing high mountain experience and helping others achieve their
goals. When not climbing in Argentina, Elizabeth chases the sun to Alaska where she guides in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

Marcelo
Ruben Donozo is a Senior Guide and is certified with the EPGAMT
(ESCUELA Para Guias de Alta Montaña y Trekking) in Mendoza
Argentina. Marcelo has climbed and guided many peaks in South America
including: 14 ascents of Aconcagua, new ascents for Taulliraju,
Cerro Fitz Roy, Cerro Tambillos, and several others. His strongest
assets are his ability to lead a team with safety and expertise. He
also enjoys sharing his knowledge with climbers who are new to the
sport. |

Marcelo
Guzman has been an Assistant Guide on Cordon del Plata in Mendoza
Argentina and has worked on Aconcagua for five years. He is currently
studying at the EPGAMT (ESCUELA Para Guias de Alta Montaña
y Trekking), the official guide school in Mendoza Argentina. Marcelo
is gifted for making the high altitude experience seem not only
challenging but also fun. Marcelo's love for the mountains shows
in all facets of the mountain experience. No matter how fowl the
weather is, or how perfect the blue sky is, Marcelo portrays a sense
of consistency and contentment that is contagious for other team
members.

Martin
Girodo has been an Assistant Guide on Cordon del Plata in Mendoza
Argentina and he has been working on Aconcagua for the past six years.
He is a guide student at the EPGAMT (ESCUELA Para Guias de Alta Montaña
y Trekking), the official guide school in Mendoza Argentina. Martin
possess an innate ability towards customer service which is primarily
rooted in his patient personality and crafted technique. |

Christian Sanchez is a Porter and Naturalist on Aconcagua. Christian has a patient character that reminds people to ‘stop and smell the flowers’ while aiming for the summit. He points out the animals, floral life on the way to base camp, geological formations, and ecology on Aconcagua. Christian is a guide student at the EPGAMT (ESCUELA Para Guias de Alta Montaña y Trekking), the official guide school in Mendoza Argentina. |

Greg Runyan has been living and climbing in Alaska since 1994. He has participated in 9 expeditions ranging from 10 day ski tours in the Ruth Gorge up to 3-4 week Denali climbs. His guiding career began in 1999 working as a wilderness guide for botanists studying medicinal plants. The following year he worked as an adjunct instructor for the University of Alaska Anchorage; teaching ice-climbing, mountaineering and glacier travel. For the past 4 years he has been a full-time guide and partner in Kennicott Wilderness Guides in the Wrangell- St. Elias National Parque in Alaska. He is currently building a log cabin in Alaska and his hobbies include designing his cabin and going climbing. |

Todd Muchow (Muco) has been climbing since his youngster days of growing up in mountain abundant Southwestern Colorado. Besides his 100 plus summits in and around Colorado, in 2002-2003 he spent a year and a half living in South America, climbing Aconcagua, Sajama (the highest peak in Bolivia) and various others in the Mendoza area of Argentina. Currently Todd is studying International Affairs/Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Colorado in Boulder and continuing to travel to places like Russia, Europe, and South America in fulfilling research projects. He will most likely be aiding climbing trips up Aconcagua this season as a porter and sub-guide and will be documenting the trips by both video and photo. |

Kevin Smith guides in the Wrangell St. Elias Range in Alaska and in Argentina. He moved to Alaska long ago by way of Vermont and Utah, in search of bigger mountains and more snow. He first landed in Girdwood, where he spent many winters skiing bigger mountains with more snow. Kevin found & built a home in McCarthy and started climbing,
backpacking, and guiding for Kennicott Wilderness Guides 10 years ago; while also ice-climbing, skiing & snowboarding everything in sight around Valdez and throughout the Chugach. Kevin has been guiding on Aconcagua for three years. He loves the Argentine cultural experience and the big mountain adventures. Kevin inspires us by prioritizing mountains in his daily life and never giving up on the dream. |
